Pion's ECM XR an artificial extracellular matrix for use in extended-release studies with SCISSOR
Webinar
Introducing the ECM XR, a new artificial extracellular matrix (ECM) that mimics the human subcutaneous environment, to enable faster formulation development with less reliance on in vivo testing.
Developed for use with SCISSOR N3, our first-in-class Subcutaneous Injection Site Simulator, the ECM XR has the stability required to study drug release over prolonged periods of time. In tests with a range of drugs, it demonstrated clinically relevant in vitro release profiles.
In this webinar you will learn:
- Background information on Pion’s SCISSOR and Rainbow systems
- How Pion has developed and validated artificial extracellular matrices
- How small molecules, peptides, proteins, and monoclonal antibodies release from the ECM XR
