The UV fiber optic-based Rainbow® Dynamic Dissolution Monitor is a powerful tool, designed to deliver the fastest path to accurate dissolution analysis. Built with a world-class optical bench, it allows for simultaneous real-time data collection and analysis of up to 8 vessels through a user-friendly software interface. It's the detection core of the MicroDISS Profiler.
DissoPRO™ is a secure, traceable software package that allows Pion’s fiber optic users to develop and run dissolution methods in a 21 CFR Part 11 compliant framework. It allows you to effortlessly save and transfer fiber-optic methods from your development lab to your QC/Compliant lab.
Explore the capabilities of our Rainbow R6.
With 20 years of proven efficiency, Pion’s Rainbow® serves as the benchmark for in situ dissolution monitoring and is widely used throughout the industry. Researchers engaged in USP dissolution and those using more novel apparatus can utilize this powerful tool to improve throughput, reduce consumables, eliminate waste streams and provide more detailed profiles. The Rainbow® also eradicates clogging, leaking and the need for pump maintenance thanks to its ability to ‘pump the light, not the liquid’.
The Rainbow’s dip style probes and interchangeable reflectance tips are engineered from stainless steel, with a horizontal analysis path available through the J style dip probe.
Variable path lengths of 1, 2, 5, 10 or 20 mm for maximum flexibility.
Fast return on investment due to low maintenance cost, automated data collection, and enhanced capability
Up to 8 individual Photo Diode Array Spectrophotometers allows data collection of UV/VIS spectra (200 – 720 nm) at 1nm resolution as often as every two seconds from all vessels simultaneously.
Up to 8 data acquisition channels
