Pion’s SiriusT3 is a fully automated instrument designed for compound screening and preparing detailed PhysChem profiles. It gives you accurate data using only small sample quantities and can manage up to 8 solubility assays per day.
The SiriusT3 is an essential tool for analyzing pure single-component organic chemicals and their salts. It measures pKa, logP, logD and solubility of ionizable drugs and small molecules, needing small amounts of sample. It is widely used in university labs, CROs and Pharma to support drug discovery research.
The SiriusT3 can be used for a range of solubility tasks across early stage compound screening, physchem characterization and pre-formulation. These include:
The SiriusT3 has a fully automated X and Y axis on [a?] titrator module, allowing you to run complicat-ed assays that would be challenging to set up manually.
The optional autoloader allows for convenience and high throughput by enabling you to run unat-tended experiments.
Many assays work with standard templates. Templates are supplied for all supported assays, including a template for setting up CheqSol. CheqSol is a proprietary method developed by Pion to accurately determines the kinetic and intrinsic solubilities of ionizable compounds. It generates detailed information about the extent and duration of supersaturation and a pH-solubility profile from a single, highly automated assay which takes less than 2 hours.
With the SiriusT3, you can see whether compounds precipitate in LLPS form, giving you the potential for solubility enhancement.
CheqSol and other solubility methods allow for high-throughput screening of solubilities – Sirius T3 allows you to test between 4 and 5 solubilities per day.
The versatility of the SiriusT3 means you can establish all the key physchem characteristics of your samples using one single, highly accurate device. You’ll determine pKa logP and logD vs pH and solubil-ity, with many sample runs able to produce simultaneous results.
