Pion’s commercial offering goes global with two key appointments

Pion, Inc. (“Pion”), a leading provider of analytical instrumentation for formulation development and quality control in the life sciences industry, has announced it is strengthening its commercial team with two key appointments. 

As the business continues to expand its commercial operation on a worldwide scale Chris Cooper joins as Director of Global Sales, while Dave Dolak takes on the role of Director of Global Strategic Marketing. 

Dave and Chris bring a combined 35 years+ industry experience with Chris having spent the last eight years as Pharma and Food Sector Sales Manager – Americas for a well known instrumentation manufacturer. Dave also joins following a 29 year career in the analytical instrumentation industry, most recently as a Director of Sales Enablement.

It has been an exciting 12 months for Pion with Chris and Dave marking two of several major appointments for the company during this time.

Having Chris and Dave onboard is going to help us accelerate our commercial operation on a worldwide scale with a strategic approach that will raise the awareness of Pion across the entire drug development pipeline.

While working with our international commercial leadership team, Chris will oversee our global sales efforts, while continuing to expand our routes to market around the world.  Dave meanwhile will oversee the company’s worldwide strategic product marketing initiatives, while providing oversight of our global marketing campaigns.”
